Oil Burners & Wax Melt Burners
Tealight oil burners for fragrance oils and wax melts, in ceramic, soapstone, sandstone and mango wood, from £2.95. A tealight in the base warms the dish above and releases the scent.

Questions and answers
Can I use wax melts in an oil burner?
Yes. Many of these burners take fragrance oil or a wax melt in the top dish, with a tealight in the base to warm it. The Ceramic and Metal Square Stand and Lucky Coin burners also list simmering granules.
Do I need to add water to an oil burner?
With fragrance oil, some burners ask for water in the top bowl first and a few drops of oil added to it, such as the Tree of Life and Open Hands designs. Wax melts go straight into the dish.
What do I need to use an oil burner?
A tealight for the base and a fragrance oil, essential oil or wax melt for the dish. The Oil Burner, Fragrance Oils and Tealights Kit comes with a Dark Jade Square Buddha Burner, 30 unscented tealights and two 10ml fragrance oils, lavender and baby powder.
How big are the oil burners?
Each product page gives the size. As a guide, the Small Classic White Oil Burner with moon and star cut-outs is about 5 x 7cm, and the Large Soapstone Elephant burner is about 13 x 10cm and weighs 870g.
What are the burners made of?
Most are ceramic. There are also soapstone burners made in India, sandstone burners made in Indonesia and mango wood burners with a black metal bowl.
