Can selenite get wet?
It is best to keep it dry. Selenite is a soft form of gypsum that is slightly soluble in water, so soaking or wet cleaning can pit and wear its surface. Dust it with a dry, soft brush instead; our Comma Edit guide, Can Selenite Get Wet?, covers care in more detail.
What sizes do the selenite towers come in?
The natural selenite towers come in 5cm, 10cm, 15cm and 20cm heights, from £5.95 for the 5cm to £19.95 for the 20cm. The 20cm tower is about 4.5cm wide and weighs around 460g.
What comes with a selenite lamp?
The 15cm and 25cm natural selenite tower lamps come with a light fitting, bulb and plug. The 25cm selenite block lamps come with an LED bulb, cable and UK light fitting. All four lamps are made from selenite and glass.
Where is the selenite made?
Most of the selenite here is made in Morocco, including the towers, plates, bowls, hearts and candle holders. The 10cm natural tower, for example, is about 3.5cm wide and weighs around 250g.
