What sizes are the steel tongue drums?
The Small drums are about 13 x 9cm and weigh 670g, the Low Medium drums about 14 x 7cm and 780g, and the 16cm drums 956g. The largest, the Marble drum, is about 17 x 13cm and weighs 1300g.
Do the drums come with mallets?
Most do. The Atlas, Om Mandala, Red Om, Black Chakra and Volcanic Splash drums all come with mallets and a carry bag.
What do they sound like?
The Low Medium drums sit in a lower register with soft, rounded tones. You play by tapping the tongues with the mallets, or play freely to pick out simple melodies.
