What does the Greenman represent?
The Green Man is widely seen as a symbol of spring and new growth. Its leafy face appears in carvings in many medieval British churches.
What is parasite wood?
It is a naturally formed wood growth used as a base for the carving. Its natural shape means each piece varies.
