Amethyst ranges from lilac to deep purple; chevron amethyst has V-bands of purple and white quartz.
Where does the name amethyst come from?
The name comes from the Greek amethystos, meaning "not intoxicated". Ancient Greeks believed the stone kept the wearer sober.

It's dispatched within 1 to 2 working days (it can take 3 to 4 from October to December). Parcels up to 2kg go by Royal Mail and arrive 2 to 5 working days after dispatch; heavier ones go by next-day courier. UK delivery is free on orders over £39.99; below that it is £2.79 up to 990g, £2.99 up to 2kg and £5.99 over 2kg. There's a £6 minimum order (before delivery), and you can mix and match anything.
